What is screen printing?



A Screen printing is a stencil method of printmaking in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface. This method creates high quality printed apparel that can withstand years of wearing and washing.

How many colors can I print and what is the cost per color?



A
We are able to print up to 8 spot colors and the cost per color will be $25 per color.

What covers the cost of the color purchase?



A When your order is place in and we determine how many colors the design will carry. The color cost covers each individual screen that has to be burn for your designs. (EXAMPLE) Your design has 5 colors, we burn the images on 5 screens. Cost will be $25 x 5 = $125.

Do I have to pay for the color/ screen charge on reorders?



A
No. On reorders for your design there is no color charge. We house your screens and films for a year. Color charge is only on first time orders.

How is the price determined?



A Pricing for screen printed apparel is determined by the quantity of items being ordered, the color of the garment, the number of locations on the garment being printed, and the number of colors in your artwork. Dark colored garments are generally more expensive than white or light colored ones.

What is the minimum quantity I have to order?



A There is a 48 piece minimum for all custom screen printed apparel orders. Please keep in mind that the cost per shirt decreases as the number of shirts you order goes up.

What is the average turn around time for screen printed apparel?



A Typical turn around time for custom printed apparel is 7-10 business days from the time your order is placed until the day it is shipped. This turn around time can vary depending on the size of your order and how much work is needed to prepare your artwork. Also if your design is custom artwork, please keep in mind that once the design is approved the 7-10 business days will take effect. Rush delivery is also available.

Can I choose from different type of apparel?



A Yes. You can order from many different styles of apparel. From American Apparel, Next Level, Gildan , Hanes and much much more. We stock up on many brands and sizes but if you request a specific type that we dont house, we are able to order it for you.

How expensive is my apparel going to be when I order?.



A All the brand name apparel that is purchase for screen printing is at around wholesale price. It all determines the brand of your choosing. For example. American Apparel will be priced higher that Gildan due to its wholesale pricing.

PLASTISOL INK

Plastisol ink is the most commonly used ink in the industry. Plastisol inks sits on top of the fabric giving the image a superior color saturation and durability.

WATERBASE INK

Waterbase inks are eco-friendly. is absorbed by the fibers of the garment achieving a soft hand touch. Waterbased inks are some of the most enviornmentally friendly inks

DISCHARGE

Discharge is a technique in which an activator and or color is added to the ink to remove dye from garment. When the color is added the discharge will become the new color. .

Foil

Foil is a reflective mirror like technique applied by printing a coat of glue to the garment and then heat sealing the area with a sheet of foil. Great for those who like a little Bling!

GLITTER

Glitter consists tiny sparkling particles that give a jewel effect. Great technique to simulate rhinestones.

METALLIC

Metallic inks come in plastisol and waterbase form. The inks are infused with small metallic particles to create that shimmer look. They are great for creating a foil or glitter imitation.

4 COLOR PROCESS

Four color process printing is a system where a color image is separated into 4 different color values. The result is a color separation of 4 images that when transferred to printing plates and sequentially printed on a printing press with the colored inks cyan (blue), magenta (red), yellow and black (the k in cmyk), reproduces the original color image.
